Banu Targun combines her formal education in PR and advertising with 15 years of experience in the industry as a strategic communications planner at The Willard Group. Her areas of responsibility include crisis management, media relations, strategic communication planning and execution.
Formerly, during her tenure at Capitol PR as senior account director, Banu Targun managed numerous projects for some of the outstanding domestic and international companies such as Coca Cola, DanoneSA, Unilever, Nestle, British American Tobacco, Samsung Electronic, Eti, Turk Henkel, Bosch, Kuveyt Turk, Denso Automotive, Orta Anadolu T.A.S.
As corporate spokesperson trainer, she has taken on important roles in strengthening the image and positioning of companies and brands. In addition to communication, training and crisis management projects, she has also excelled in event management including organization of various festivals and sponsorship activities.
She has actively participated in an array of workshops, seminars and congresses covering diverse topics such as PR for Professionals, Crisis Management, Communication Skills, Management Skills, Time Management, Total Quality Management. Targun has B.S. degree from Communications Faculty of Istanbul University, and is fluent in English.
